On 15th February 2021, one of the Child Protection Volunteers informed our Project Staff that Swapan Sardar (name changed) of Bahirbena village had arranged the marriage of his 20 years old son with a 16 years old girl living in the same village.
Immediately, after getting the information, the canning Child Line was contacted. A joint action was initiated by Child Line and the KMWSC. With the help of the local police station, the marriage was stopped.
