Zubaida Javed is an 11-year-old girl, whose parents after coming from Bihar settled in the slums of Park Circus. Her father is a van driver. She is a child with special needs. Zubaida’s mother works as a domestic help in an apartment near her slum. Zubaida dropped out from scholl in class II.
After being counselled by our MAC teachers, Zubaida’s parents started sending their daughter to our MAC regularly. Right from the beginning, Zubaida took keen interest in studies. Observing Zubaida’s interests, our teacher collected the necessary documents from girl’s parents and enrolled the girl in a government school in Park Circus. Our teachers also helped Zubaida to obtain the disability certificate from the Government and receive the disability scholarship as well.
