On January, 26th 2021, TagariGayen, one of our PV members informed our Project staff, Ms. Bithika Mondal that a 27 years old man was getting married to a 17 year old girl. Bithika immediately informed the Canning Child Line and a joint action was promptly initiated. The joint team visited the girl and found her to be in deep distress. With the help of the local police station, they rescued the girl and after fulfilling several formalities, the girl was placed in the custody of a Government home
