Menstrual health is very vital for all the women and so is the use of sanitary napkins . Being in a conservative country where these things are considered as a taboo for women and due to some traditional aspects, women and girls are not being able to express their need and demands for the same. Thus they mostly get suppressed to discuss this issue with anyone. To promote safe menstrual cycle and sensitize the women about the use of sanitary pads KMWSC conducted an awareness session on Menstrual Hygiene during the Adolescent Girl's Group (AGG) and community vigilance committee (CVC) meeting on 21st of October 2020 at Canning 2 block in Tambuldaho 1 GP Nolkora village under Anti- human trafficking project. AGG girls also received sanitary napkins packets manufactured by KMWSC SKD- Sanitary unit. The AHT Staffs told them about the use and disposal of the sanitary pad, about proper cleanliness and the nutrition intake during menstruation. It was a great opportunity for the AGG girls and women to speak on this issue openly without any traditional restrictions
