KMWSC Cyclone response team consisting of 24 staff memebers along with Director and two Sisters from Loreto distributed food relief kits and cyclone relief materials to 400 poor families of 2 villages, in Gosaba Block, south 24 pgs, Sundarban. The ration kits included : rice-6 kgs, dal ( lentils)- 2 kgs, potatoes: 3 kgs, cooking oil- 1 ltr packet, salt-1 kg packet, onion- 1 kg, soap-2 pieces and Soya chunks- 1 packet, masala packets along with mosquito nets which was donated for the cyclone relief purpose by the Sisters from Loreto, mats, dhoti, saree, blanket, tarpaulin sheets, clothes, utensils and buckets. In collaboration with Indigo Airlines, KMWSC team distributed Cookies, nutrition bars like choco and amla bars, poha packets were distributed to altogether 400 vulnerable children of the respective two villages and also to 100 children from Manmathnagar village.
