The skill development unit under the anti human trafficking project of KMWSC has started a new initiative of making masks during this lockdown period for the safety against the Nobel covid 19 virus. The masks are available in the market but at a very expensive price, which is not affordable by the poorer sects of the society. Thus, the Director of KMWSC felt the need of providing masks to all their beneficiaries as it is mandatory to wear a face mask due to this corona virus spread in the community and surrounding environment. The women from Canning block-1 SKD unit are stitching face masks to be given to those who cannot afford.
