Today in Basirhat, BFS leading teachers distributed essential food commodities - 5 kilograms of rice, 1 kilogram of Dal( Lentils), 2 kilograms of potatoes, 2 packets of 1 kg. of salt and 1 packet of Nutrela soyabeans each to 102 families. These teachers also did survey in 12 BFS in Basirhat and they have identified the needy families who are starving and are in need of essential food commodities to survive amidst this crisis. The ration was given only to such needy families. The total population in these 12 BFS is almost 950. Teachers have collected money and have distributed masks to the children of the migrant labourers. The distribution was done keeping in mind the protocols advised by the government and by maintaining social distance.
