The child right project team of KMWSC distributed masks, dettol soap, biscuits and cakes to 120 children (male- 33, Female-87 ) of child club members of 20 villages of Basirhat- 1 Block, North 24 Parganas. KMWSC have been working actively to promote safe childhood through Surokhit Shaishav programme, forming children's clubs in the villages, making children group an agent of change in their own locality. It's a platform for the children to discuss their issues related to child rights, child protection issues, child marriage, child labour and drop outs among the peers.
