Eating Right, Growing Bright: Street Play Promotes Healthy Living Among Children

Creating awareness about healthy lifestyles at an early age is essential for ensuring the overall growth and well-being of children. With this objective, the Kolkata Slums Project organised a street play on healthy eating habits on 15th June 2026 at New Alipore, engaging children through an interactive and educational experience.

The street play used creative storytelling, lively performances, and relatable characters to communicate the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy food choices. Through simple yet powerful messages, the children learned about the benefits of consuming nutritious meals, maintaining proper eating habits, and avoiding excessive consumption of unhealthy and processed foods.
