On 23 February 2026, a capacity-building training was conducted under the Identity Project for adolescents, focusing on gender and sexuality. The session was designed to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where young participants could openly explore questions related to identity, roles, relationships, and personal boundaries.
Through interactive discussions, group activities, and guided reflection, adolescents examined concepts such as gender roles, stereotypes, self-identity, and mutual respect. The training encouraged participants to think critically about societal norms while strengthening their understanding of equality and dignity.
The safe environment allowed adolescents to express their thoughts with confidence, ask questions without hesitation, and develop empathy toward diverse identities and experiences. The session not only enhanced awareness but also nurtured responsibility – empowering young people to make informed choices and build respectful relationships.
By addressing gender and sexuality through dialogue and education, the Identity Project continues to equip adolescents with the knowledge, sensitivity, and confidence needed to grow into informed and compassionate individuals.
“Informed minds, respectful relationships – building identity with confidence and dignity.”
