PARTICIPATORY CONSULTATION: IMPLEMENTING – THEORY TO PRACTICE (ANTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING) – SOUTH AND NORTH 24 PARGANAS

The Participatory Consultation Meet for Anti Human Trafficking was conducted on 13th December 2018 at KMWSC .The Consultation focused on “How to bring theory to practice” through specific intervention strategies to combat against trafficking at the community level. It was also an Honour for us to have Former Justice Nadera Patheriaya who gave the Key note address at this meet and graced the occasion . Ms Ajitha Menon from the British Deputy High Commission , Kolkata , Mr Mahesh Menon from National Institute of Juridical Sciences and Dr Jaydev Majumdar , Director of Jayaprakash Institute of Social change were among the eminent representatives present . We are also thankful to Caritas India , ABCD , World Vision India , Childline , Justice Ventures International , My Choice Foundation and our Community Vigilance Committee (CVC) and Adolescent Girls Group (AGG) from Canning I, and KMWSC Staffs for making this Consultation Meet the platform to exchange ideas of our Intervention and partner together in our fight to stop Human Trafficking .
