Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre, a development wing of Loreto Sisters’ is carrying out an extensive awareness on Anti-human trafficking issues at Canning town in collaboration with Canning Police Station. Canning is a major transit cum source areas of human trafficking. Auto campaign and miking on anti-human trafficking initiatives was done, through distribution 3000 leaflets, display of preventive measures on anti-human trafficking measures at 10 big puja pandals of Caning town. An emergency response center has been set up at Canning bus stand; with informative messages on anti-human trafficking. Here are few Glimpses of the event.
