A dedicated life skill session was conducted on 29th November 2025 at Boinchtala, Dhapa under the Adolescent Girls Empowerment Program (AGEP). The session brought together adolescent girls and community members for an engaging and insightful learning experience aimed at strengthening essential life competencies.
The training focused on building practical skills that help adolescents navigate everyday challenges with clarity and confidence. Through interactive discussions, group-based activities, and real-life examples, participants explored decision-making, emotional management, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving — skills crucial for personal development and community leadership.
The facilitator encouraged participants to reflect on their daily experiences and identify the strengths and challenges they encounter within their families, schools, and neighbourhoods. By sharing stories and collaboratively finding solutions, the girls gained a deeper understanding of the importance of self-awareness, goal-setting, and positive behaviour.
The session also aimed to nurture confidence among the adolescents, helping them recognise their potential and the role they play in shaping a safer, more informed community. The supportive environment allowed participants to express themselves openly, ask questions, and learn from one another’s experiences.
As part of the AGEP’s broader vision, this session contributes to empowering adolescent girls with the knowledge, resilience, and skills they need to lead healthier, more independent lives.
“Strengthening young voices to shape confident, capable futures.”
