Life Skill Session on Dreams and Goals: Empowering Adolescent Girls to Aspire Higher

On 29th October 2025, an inspiring Life Skill Session on “Dreams and Goals” was conducted under the Adolescent Girls’ Empowerment Programme (AGEP) supported by Naomi Network at Gosaba, Sundarban. The session brought together adolescent girls from the local community, creating a safe and supportive space for reflection, dialogue, and motivation.

The session encouraged the girls to explore their aspirations, strengths, and personal ambitions, helping them identify realistic steps toward achieving their goals. Through interactive storytelling, visual exercises, and group sharing, participants were guided to understand the importance of self-belief, perseverance, and education in transforming dreams into reality.

Facilitators emphasised that every dream, big or small, has the power to change lives when nurtured with determination and purpose. The girls were encouraged to set both short-term and long-term goals, identify obstacles, and plan constructive ways to overcome them. The activities not only promoted critical thinking and decision-making but also instilled a strong sense of self-awareness and hope for the future.

Such sessions under the AGEP initiative continue to empower adolescent girls in the Sundarbans to dream boldly, act purposefully, and envision a brighter tomorrow for themselves and their communities.
