BAREFOOT TEACHERS’ TRAINING PROGRAMME

June 19, 2018

KMWSC  under its Barefoot Teachers’ Training Project organised Level I (included action songs, rhymes, prayer songs, language development, and identification of colours, numbers, and preparation-presentation-demonstration of Teaching-Learning-Material) training from 11th of June, 2018 till 14th of June, 2018. During the four (4) day training program, twenty-four (24) grass-root level teachers (04 from Kolkata and 20 from Jharkhand), took part in the training process. The various activities of the training were executed in a group-activity process, where the total participants were sub-divided into four (4) smaller groups of six(6) members each, mingling them up with different participants from different schools. At the end of the training, the participants gave feedback which evaluated the training to be a good simulation of teaching-learning process. At the end of the program, the teacher-trainees bade goodbye to each other with an aspiration to complete the Level II training program together.
