10.30am
Resource Centre, Eknar Village, Nawada
On the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, the Resource Centre at Eknar village in Nawada, administered under KMWSC’s Brickfield School Project, resonated with the vibrant spirit of freedom and unity.
The students of the centre filled the day with enthusiasm as they decorated the premises with colours of patriotism, transforming the centre into a symbol of pride and joy. Their efforts reflected not only creativity but also their deep sense of belonging to the nation.
The highlight of the celebration was the flag hoisting, carried out with heartfelt reverence, honouring the sacrifices of countless individuals who paved the way for India’s independence. The children participated with songs, smiles, and cheer, reinforcing the values of equality, justice, and opportunity that true independence embodies.
The event served as a reminder that freedom goes beyond the raising of the tricolour — it lies in empowering communities through education and fostering dignity and hope in every child’s life.
“Freedom in our hearts, dreams in our eyes — building a future worthy of the tricolour.”
