On 9th July 2025, Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre proudly hosted a certification ceremony for 17 trainees who successfully completed their course under the Beautician Unit of the Skill Development Project. The event celebrated not only the completion of their training but also the personal growth and confidence these young women have achieved through months of hands-on learning.

The course provided them with practical knowledge in various beauty and grooming techniques — from skincare and hairstyling to client handling and basic entrepreneurship. These essential skills now equip the trainees to either begin their professional journeys or enhance their livelihood options through self-employment.

The ceremony was an emotional yet inspiring gathering, attended by trainers, staff members, and fellow students who cheered on the graduates. The trainers appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of each participant and encouraged them to continue striving towards self-reliance and dignity.
