On 23rd January 2025, Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre (KMWSC) paid tribute to the legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary with reverence and enthusiasm across all its project fields. The celebrations commenced with the garlanding of Netaji’s portrait, symbolising deep respect and gratitude for his extraordinary contributions to India’s independence. Teachers and field staff took this opportunity to enlighten children and community members about Netaji’s life, vision, and indomitable spirit. Engaging storytelling sessions and discussions brought to life his ideals of patriotism, courage, and resilience in overcoming adversity. Children actively participated in various activities, including recitations, speeches, and skits that showcased Netaji’s inspiring journey and sacrifices. These creative expressions instilled a sense of pride and responsibility among the younger generation, motivating them to uphold his values in their lives.
