On 30th December 2024 and 2nd January 2025, Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre (KMWSC) had the honour of hosting a delegation from Saint Ignatius's College, Riverview, Australia. The team, led by Ms. Kim Prodinger and comprising 16 members, embarked on an insightful journey to learn about KMWSC’s impactful intervention programs. The visit featured immersive tours of key projects, including the Red Light Area Project, I.D.E.N.T.I.T.Y. Project and the Brickfield School Project, where the visitors witnessed first-hand the Organisation's tireless efforts to uplift marginalised communities. The team engaged with beneficiaries, including children and adolescents, gaining a deep understanding of their resilience and the life-changing support provided through these initiatives. This enriching exchange fostered mutual learning, as the visitors shared their perspectives while appreciating the innovative and empathetic approaches of KMWSC. The experience highlighted the importance of global partnerships in addressing critical social issues and creating sustainable change. The visit left a profound impact, strengthening the bond between Saint Ignatius's College Riverview and KMWSC, and reinforcing the shared commitment to building a more equitable and compassionate world.
