Effective Teachers don’t cover the curriculum they uncover it

The availability of well-trained, motivated and supported teachers, nurturing and stable learning environments and adequate learning materials are among the factors that lead KMWSC to effective teaching and positive learning outcomes and introduce Barefoot Teachers Training.KMWSC realizes that teachers are the essential link to delivering a quality education to all children. To achieve the goal of universal education, there is a need more, better trained and better supported teachers.

Each year KMWSC trains grass root level teachers from small NGOs and communities so that they can continue to stay in their own community and help educate their children. The extraordinary thing about these ordinary people are the ordinary things, they do in an extraordinary way in the ordinary lives of our people. The barefoot teachers who take literacy to the doorstep of the underprivileged and marginalized in their situations far beyond the comfort of classrooms

As the teachers began gaining confidence, it also drew the attention of other teachers in the community, leading to greater demand for the Training.Around 14 participants attended the recent Barefoot Teachers Training.
