Cyclone Yaas Relief at Sundarban

Gosaba team at Sundarban as a preventive measures miking in the villages to shift to primary schools and concrete houses for shelter during the cyclone yaas along with their legal documents and papers. The families with mud houses and hay roof have taken shelter in the primary schools and high schools. Village team is trying to stop the water to enter into villages before Yaas as water level of rivers rises high and high. We whisper prayer for their safety. The families are out side the houses, on the road, in high places with their house holds as water level rises in the rivers at Manmathnagar, Gosaba, Sundarban. The water enters the houses especially the low areas houses in the villages. No rain, no storm but water level rise has destroyed the stock of the houses. Amidst the pandemic Lodha team has converted the center into cyclone center for 230 people and 220 people in SSK school adjacent to the center with all necessary drinking water, food, snacks and generator for light. The families have been safely shifted to the center with their legal documents and papers. The women and children are safe in the shelter. The villagers are trying to stop the water to enter into villages.
