Many underprivileged children are unable to find time to just have fun and be kids during their childhood — they are busy helping at home or working to support their families from a very young age. The difficulties they face, financially and emotionally, are so persistent that they barely have time or mental space to enjoy basic recreational moments, such as reading or playing with toys. Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre is constantly trying to give these children back their rightful childhood.
23 Children from Providing Education and Protection to Vulnerable Children project and 14 staffs of KMWSC went to Nicco Park Kolkata on 25th June.Every children enjoyed a lot there.They said that it was one of the happiest day of their life.
Such events are organised regularly by KMWSC.They teach our students the importance of caring and sharing.Outings organised for children are aimed at providing opportunities for the children to assimilate real life situations and to make their academic education functionally meaningful within their environment.
