Our aim on organizing the health camp was to promote one of the health related Sustainable development Goals which focuses on good health and well being of the children and the society as a whole. Therefore we could reach out to 130 children and women of the village of Chaulgola in south 24 parganas through the Lotus Child Project The camp began with a short prayers song followed by checking of the patients after whom they were provided medicines prescribed by the doctor and given a packet of snacks. The community people were very happy with the camp and the word spread across about it. But we had to stop promising to have it the coming year and enrol their names. It was well organized with the enrolled names and a token system in order to maintain the sequence with the help of the staffs. Thus it was a success, as we also met the parents individually and identified some of them who need our care.
