KMWSC conducted a free medical health check up camp for Lodha community on 24 Th February 2018 at Khelaghar Learning Centre. This is one of the objectives of the project to ensure good health of Lodha Community people, children and women as these village people are deprived of basic medical facilities. Being an island and remoteness the options for medical aid are limited to these village people. Medicines were distributed free of cost to the patients. There are few old couples who are too old to travel to the government hospitals which are again far away. There were total 25 patients (male – 10, female – 15) from Lodha and other community for the health check up. Doctor Pravas Kanti Nanda from Rudranagar attended all the patients and also advised them to take care of their basic health and hygiene.
