The International Day of the girl Child promotes girl’s rights and highlights gender inequalities that remain between girls and boys. It also gives people and organizations the opportunity to raise public awareness on the different types of discrimination ans abuse that many girls around the world suffer from. Therefore to commemorate this day the staff along with the resource person and the coordinator set out to the village and the streets of the district of south 24 Parganas on 25th October 2018 and 30th October 2018 spreading awareness through the auto camp, drawing the attention of the villagers and passerby of Sonapota and Chaulgola area .
