Dr. T. Amirtha Mary working as an Assistant Professor in the P.G. Department of Development Management, Madras School of Social Work is passionate about research and teaching. Her areas of interest are Educational Research which involves student learning, teaching methods, teacher training, and classroom dynamics. Her PhD research study on ‘Academic Achievement’ was funded by UGC wherein the study’s impact has also being felt among the respondents of her study. She believes and promotes parallel thinking and is inspired by the ‘Six Hat thinking approach’. Her next five year plans is to start her own research firm, to involve in Mixed Methodological Research in the areas of teaching & learning and to explore in the areas of development.
