New territories… new locations, new communities, new stakeholders…….New partnership for extending the global campaign issues on Anti Human Trafficking- Community Based Intervention on Anti-Human Trafficking Initiatives at Diamond Harbour I block, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal with British Deputy High Commission of Kolkata.

The trends of human trafficking have been changing with the advancement of technologies, triggering up with social media. It is the issue of every nation. The developing countries have the vicious circle of human trafficking which again violates the human rights and human dignity. KMWSC has been working relentlessly to sensitize the people of Canning 1 Block, South 24 Parganas on issues of Human Trafficking. Canning is a major gate way to enter Sundarban and Bangladesh. While working in Canning KMWSC felt the need of expanding its intervention area in Diamond Harbour 1 as this also plays a major role of connecting with the main land.
