Helping hands made a big difference
Sagarika Sardar was left without any educational help when the Chaulgola Lotus Child educational center closed down few years back. Her father and mother everyday leave home early in the morning for work leaving her alone to look after herself. She gradually found it difficult day by day to cope with her studies as she reached higher class and her grades in school started deteriorating. It was a boon in disguise when the Lotus Child center reopened at Chaulgola in 2015. She soon started coming to the center and availed the remedial educational help. In no time taking help from the center teachers she started faring well in her studies once again. Now her parents are no more worried about her educational support and they are very thankful to the center for opening a window of opportunity for Sagarika.
