The incessant hard work and efforts of our field associates in our various projects have yielded some remarkable results. Samir and his younger brother stay with their grand parents at Gosaba. They were found out by our field associates of Solar Enlightenment project during home visit.
Their mother has come back from Chennai where she was working as a labour. Samir’s father works in Andaman.
Samir grew up without formal education. The lack of electricity impacts his family a lot. Samir struggled to study in the evening .
With KMWSC intervention Samir comes to our learning center everyday. He has been given a solar lantern and is very eager to learn. Completing homework was difficult for samir with no access to electricity. By providing solar lanterns samircan study at night and improve his performance.We wish Samir and all other little agents of change a great future.
