Saturday 30th July, World Day Against Human Trafficking In Persons, Canning Block 1 witnessed and heartily participated in a rally organised by KMWSC in collaboration with Canning Police Station. All who were part of this were united by a common cause; Human Trafficking. We were happy to see the turnout rise gradually to 350, Civic Volunteers, SHG, the youth and many were part of this. Leaflets were distributed to around 1800 people.The support from the mass and the local police helped us in reaching to thousands.
KMWSC always looks forward to community participation; positive response at Canning Block 1 and beyond is encouraging us to strive forward, to do better work. The message has reached to the thousands and this awareness will have positive impact in the days to come. We sincerely thank the the mass and the Canning Police for making this a success.
